The Book “Israeli sketches”

Tatyana Razumovskaya, a poet and novelist who immigrated to Israel in 1988, has collected in the present book many years’ worth of notes from her writer’s notebook. They are attentive observations of Israeli everyday life from the inside, both funny and sad sketches that will let the reader feel like a participant in the events.
This beautiful edition is richly illustrated with drawings by Lev Razumovsky, an outstanding painter from Leningrad. They were created in Israel when he travelled from St. Petersburg to Jerusalem to visit his daughter and grandson.
Thus, this is a book born out of the collaboration between a daughter and her father. This book also makes a great gift for any reader that is interested in studying the Russian language: the font is large, the stories are short, the style is plain and simple, there are many illustrations, and the author's humor will bring many pleasant moments.
